To succeed in today's marketplace, an engineer must have good communication skills, be able to work in and lead a team, and understand and practice professional ethics. He or she must have an understanding of the various technical and non-technical disciplines and how they interact to solve a complicated problem. Today's engineer must understand the social, political, financial and environmental implications of a project. Our engineering students receive such education experiences not only from engineering professors but also from professors of humanities and social science.
